Dr. Ramon Antonio Saldaña Matar is a highly accomplished orthopedic surgeon, arthroscopist, and expert in regenerative medicine. With a career dedicated to integrating innovative medical techniques, Dr. Saldaña specializes in minimally invasive surgery, joint preservation, and cellular therapies. His extensive training includes a specialization in arthroscopy with over 1,600 hours of curricula at the Hospital Dr. Victorio De La Fuente Narváez in Mexico City, and certification from the Mexican Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology.
Dr. Saldaña earned his medical degree from Universidad Central del Este (UCE) in the Dominican Republic and completed his orthopedic and trauma surgery residency at Hospital Salvador B. Gautier, affiliated with the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), where he also served as Chief Resident. Additionally, he holds a diploma in regenerative medicine from Universidad Nacional Evangélica, in collaboration with 3Med and SOLCELMA.
As an active member of the International Society for Stem Cell Application (ISSCA), Dr. Saldaña is committed to advancing education and clinical applications of regenerative therapies. He shares his expertise through ISSCA training programs, helping physicians worldwide adopt cutting-edge techniques in cellular regeneration and joint care.
In his clinical practice, he serves as Medical Director at Orthobioscience and operates in the Dominican Republic’s leading medical centers.
