Dr. Mario Ojeda
Key Gastroenterologist and Regenerative Medicine Specialist at ISSCA
A distinguished physician with over 35 years of experience in Internal Medicine, Gastroenterology, and Regenerative Medicine. A graduate of the University of Chile, he completed his specialization in Gastroenterology and Digestive Endoscopy at prestigious institutions in Santiago, Chile. Dr. Ojeda further expanded his expertise with a diploma in Morphological and Aesthetic Medicine from the Argentine Society of Aesthetic Medicine and advanced training in stem cell therapies in Argentina.
As a leader in his field, Dr. Ojeda has made significant contributions to gastroenterology, obesity management, and regenerative therapies. He is recognized for his expertise in intragastric balloons, endoscopic gastroplasty, and innovative treatments using stem cells. Dr. Ojeda actively participates in national and international medical societies, including the Chilean Society of Gastroenterology (SChGE) and the Argentine Society of Gastroenterology (SAGE), and serves as Director of the Chilean Society of Medicine and Aesthetic Surgery (SOCHIMCE).
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Ojeda has held teaching positions and published extensively, sharing his knowledge at global conferences and with the next generation of healthcare professionals.
